Motorstorm Apocalypse Digital Outdoor Campaign, 3D Cinema, TV Campaign and Sponsorship of FIVE

Our involvement in this campaign was truly multi-platform as we produced a variety of edits from video walls, to 3D cinema, to TV.

The game centres around hardcore motor-racing as distractions literally fly at you from all angles! We endeavoured to portray the chaos, havoc and utter destruction of this game in all our adrenaline fuelled creative executions as well as featuring a taste of the various machines on offer. Thankfully no reports of any cars crashing outside Lime Street station in Liverpool….yet!

Killzone Sponsorship on FIVE

Continuing our relationship with SCEE and their sponsorship of FIVE Movies, we produced a range of idents to support the launch of their release of Killzone 2.

Taking up the role of commander, we used the idents to give combat soldiers instructions in weapons, the enemy etc. and used this to promote multiple facets of the gameplay.

Bulletstorm Sponsorship on SyFy

How do you take a game that centres around the many ways to take down your enemy and even awards points for your ability to “Kill with Skill”, and produce daytime playable sponsorship idents?

This was the challenge we faced when embarking on EA Games’ sponsorship of SyFy Channel. The idents ran around peak programming and introduced the game to a highly focused target audience.

Little Big Planet 2 Sponsorship on FIVE

Sony Playstation approached us to create some idents to wrap around their sponsorship of movies on FIVE. The brief was to get “Sackboy” into the movies so what better approach than to have our leading man appearing in his very own series of famous movie scenes, all set in Little Big Planet?

We worked with Media Molecule to produce 24 idents that covered multiple genres of film and saw Sackboy playing everyone from Indiana Jones to Maria von Trapp! The spots were voiced by the inimitable Stephen Fry who played director as Sackboy took us through his movie repertoire!

Call of Duty: Black Ops News Wrap

What better way for Rushmore to start the New Year than to work on the biggest software launch the UK has ever seen?

We were very excited to team up with Activision in producing a series of marketing materials for their launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops with went on to sell 1.4million copies on its first day of sales.

As well as having generated pre-launch A/V we were also invited to film the launch event at Battersea Power station, which featured a live European head to head between selected gamers. The event attracted a number of celebrities and our newswrap of the evening was edited over night and distributed across a multitude of media channels to ensure that the video was available as a news item the following morning. Thorpe Park Fright Night

After the success of our last viral project with Thorpe Park, launching the Saw ride in 2008, they asked us to develop a new online video for their ‘Fright Night’ Halloween events (the thrill of the rides at night). In response we wrote a piece that centred around a traumatised women trapped in an institution and handled the whole process from scripting, casting, costume, location finding, shooting, editing, sound design & delivery.

The major challenge was finding a location that would emphasise the characters incarceration and our creative director Dan Skinner happened to remember that Three Mills Studio had a jail set left from TV Drama Bad Girls, which fitted perfectly with our story’s needs.

NBA 2KII TV Spots

Having worked on the NBA TV campaigns for the last three years, we were excited to get stuck into the latest offering, NBA 2K11.

Using the existing US creative, we localised voice overs and end cards for five different territories and trafficked to numerous stations around the world.

Frizz Ease TV Spot

Carrying on our long running relationship with Kao Brands, Rushmore were excited to create the new Frizz Ease UK TV spot, part of the wider Frizz Ease campaign we kicked off earlier this year.

Rushmore created the spots using existing US materials in our Smoke suite, modelling all the UK pack shots in 3D for a luxuriously realistic effect. Topped off with a beautiful voice over from Anastasia Griffith, the final spot proves a great platform for John Frieda’s signature product.
