Working for investment company Smedvig Capital, we have produced their brand new HTML5 web site. Containing image sliders the site is an immersive experience showing all of Smedvig’s clients as well as their portfolio of work and team members.

After a rebrand in the latter months of 2011, investment company Smedvig Capital wanted to create an identity with a more  style image than their rivals. With a balance of creativity, new technology and their underlying root of corporate identiy we produced a super slick HTML5 site which allowed the brand to shine through and brought their online presence into the 21st centruy.

As well as this, we produced a clean and informative WordPress site to act as the main news source, allowing the world to stay updated with all their latest happenings.

Working on Universal Picture’s latest title The Lorax we have created The Lorax Fun and Games Facebook App. Sitting on the official Facebook page the app serves as a fan hub to all digital content for the film.

Featuring a video, games, downloads, wallpapers, story and gallery section any Lorax fan will be kept amused by the Fun & Games hub.

From the creators of Despicable Me and the imagination of Dr. Seuss comes the 3D-CG feature Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, an adaptation of the classic tale of a forest creature who shares the enduring power of hope. The animated adventure follows the journey of a 12-year-old as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

After launching the brilliant Johnny English Reborn Spy Academy earlier in the year, we have now launched an updated version in order to promote the Home Entertainment release of the film.

Featuring a redesigned hub and an update to the most popular Mental Agility Game which now includes a fun new observation level; the site contains everything a trainee spy could need.

Starting at the very beginning of the year we released the age gate trailer for Paramount’s No Strings Attached. Fully embeddable and sharable, viewers can share the trailer with their friends through all their favourite social networks. more…

Next again for Paramount we created Rango: Welcome to Dirt. This fun app allows the user to create a completely customisable scene by selecting backgrounds, characters and objects which can then be saved and shared as a wallpaper. more…

For one of the biggest releases of the season- Kenneth Branagh’s Thor -we created a mobile app and microsite which deliver two exciting AR experiences via smartphone. Unleash the Power of Thor allows the user to discover and open up a portal to the mystical world of Asgard, whilst Become a Norse God lets the user transform a photograph of themselves into an image that resembles a teaser one-sheet poster. more…

Next, for the release of the highly anticipated game Duke Nukem Forever, we created Duke’s Hall of Hotness. Users are able to upload their picture to Hall of Hotness gallery which can then be rated by others as to whether they are ‘hot’ or not. Response to the app was overwhelming, with hundreds of pictures being uploaded within days of its launch. more…

For another one of the summer’s biggest releases we created the content-rich Bridesmaids Facebook Tab, featuring videos, character bios and photos, and an interactive boutique which allowed fans to upload a photograph of themselves in order to preview different wedding dresses, then share those images with friends. more…

For J.J. Abrams’ Super 8 we released Listening to Lillian, an embeddable app that allows users to simultaneously tune in to CB and AM radio interfaces and hear intriguing radio conversations occurring in the town of Lillian, Ohio (where the events in the movie take place). By using both radios, the listener can combine newly-scripted police and army reports with the haunting score from the film, creating an atmospheric and immersive experience. more…

For our first Working Title project we created a multi-language Spy Academy for the release ofJohnny English Reborn. This hub contains a complete fan kit which includes photos, wallpapers, a selection of mini games allowing fans to hone their secret agent skills and a mobile app which turns the user’s phone into the ultimate spy accessory. more…

For the release of Footloose we created the Tutorial Dance Widget. Using footage of Kenny Wormald, the tutorial teaches you all the moves from the iconic film. The user can easily navigate through the different sections of the dance watching each section as many times as needed and then recapping the moves Kenny has demonstrated. Even a dance novice will have no excuse not to cut loose with this widget. more…

We made an Interactive Trailer for the Film Distributors Association, featuring all the biggest and best releases of the season. Content for each film can be unlocked throughout the trailer, allowing the viewer to access up-to-date information and online media for each title. more…

For Paramount’s The Adventures of TinTin: The Secret of the Unicorn, we created one of our most ambitious projects of the year. Tintin: Live the Adventure is a comic book styled hub which houses a large array of content, including videos, biographies, interviews, mini games and downloadable activities. The entertaining viral applications include A-Curse-A-Day, which lists over two hundred famous curses from Captain Haddock, and the Twitter-focused Secret Message Maker. more…

The Hive website is now live! The site developed for Lupus films’ animated children’s TV series contains a wealth of content for fans of the tv show to enjoy including printables, games, clips and an explore section where users can explore the hive’s own Ant Hill Stores.

Games include Bee gardener, Bee Colourful and Bee Musical are sure to keep fans of the show entertained.

The Hive follows the fortunes of the extremely cute Bee family, who live together with their friends and relations in the Hive. Pappa Bee, Mamma Bee, Buzzbee, Rubee and little Babee are really just like any other family, except they are tiny, stripy and can fly! The Hive is about the everyday things that concern little children such as playing, being friendly, spending time with your family and finding out all about the world and how it works. And thanks to the Bee family’s many friends and relations, including Miss Ladybird, Katypillar, Jasper the Wasp and Queen Bee, The Hive is always bustling with fun, adventure and lots of exciting things to see and do.

Consisting of 12 comic book style panels the site allows the user to access all content any TinTin fan would want including behind the scenes videos, character biographies, actor interviews and viral applications such as, A-Curse-A-Day, listing over 200 of Captain Haddock’s famous curses, and Secret Message Maker allowing users to bring the world of TinTin into their twitter activity by using morse code as a secret twitter communicator with their friends.

As well as this the site also contains printables for users to download and complete.

Starring Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis and Simon Pegg and directed by Steven Spielberg, in The Adventures of TinTin: The Secret of the Unicorn, Tintin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock’s ancestor. As we wave goodbye to Summer, it’s easy to tell from the plummeting temperatures that we are most definitely in the midst of Autumn.

What better way to spend a drizzly Autumnal afternoon than at the cinema? To celebrate this both the Interactive and Production teams have joined forces to create the FDA Autumn Cinema Interactive Trailer.

Featuring all the biggest and best releases in this season, the Interactive Trailer serves as a complete guide to the season of cinema. Watching the trailer unlocks content for each film as it appears on screen, giving you up to date information on each film title, release date, certificate and a link to the film’s own Facebook page.

As well as this you can also win a years worth of cinema going by correctly naming the film that a selection of stills have been taken from. Not a problem for any film buff.

For the release of Footloose this week we have created the Tutorial Dance Widget.

The Spy Academy allows users to put their skills to the ultimate test in order to train as a MI7 agent just like Johnny English.

The hub contains a complete fan kit including games, training videos and downloadable content.

Each game is designed to test an essential spy skill; including Endurance, Mental Agility, Aviation and the soon to be launched Espionage.

As also reported by Brand Republic and Media Week, the Spy Academy will be placed across a number of partner sites including Miniclip and YouTube.

Johnny English Reborn is the sequel to Johnny English starring Rowan Atkinson as an secret agent going up against international assassins hunting down the Chinese premier.

Using this the user can listen into intriguing radio conversations occurring in Lillian alongside the beautiful score of the film.

By tuning into the AM radio simultaneously you can listen to both radios for a bespoke atmospheric and immersive experience. The app is completely sharable and embeddable. It is also integrated with Twitter so users can share their experiences and discoveries.
