Xmas on Xtra TV Spot

The Christmas festivities began a little earlier than usual for us this year when we produced 45″ and 30″ TV spots for Comedy Central Xtra to promote their up-coming Christmas programming.

During the one day London shoot, we created a cosy Christmas living room complete with a scene-stealing 6ft tree. However, with the addition of extensive VFX composting in post-production and a hilarious voice over, it soon becomes apparent that not everything is quite as it seems in the world of Comedy Central!

Borderlands International TV and Cinema Campaign

Rushmore are pleased to have completed a multi-platform, international campaign for 2K Games’ latest release - Borderlands.

The campaign included 22 individual edits for domestic and international TV (which were localised for graphics and V/O), dedicated web edits and a UK cinema commercial (which was turned around in just 10 days including editing, clearance from CAA and BBFC and finished with a 5.1 Dolby surround mix).

We trafficked the TV commercials to 35 different stations worldwide and our Interactive team have even got the cinema spot running in the virtual cinema in Sony Home!

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Sponsorship Idents

Following Nathan Drake on his latest adventure, “Among Thieves” is the latest instalment from the Uncharted stable.

To launch the title Sony Playstation 3 decided to sponsor ‘Action Heroes’ on both Sky Movies and Discovery. Using in-game footage Rushmore edited a range of idents to wrap the content strands and were also commissioned to produce an accompanying promotion microsite and online advertising campaign.

Up Sponsorship Idents

The latest Pixar/Disney collaboration centres around the far flung ballooning adventures of a grumpy old man and a young stowaway.

To promote the film, Disney sponsored a series of kids movies on FIVE for which Rushmore produced a set of idents by treating character animations to create some subtle and intriguing idents.

Fast and Furious Sponsorship Idents

To announce the launch of “Fast and Furious” on DVD, Universal sponsored “Petrolheads” night on FIVE.

Rushmore were comissioned to create the idents to accompany the the sponsorship, treating key footage of the movie to drive home the all-action nature of the “Petrolheads” strand.

Aliens in the Attic Competition Spot

Rushmore were delighted to work with Viacom Brand Solutions on a Nickelodeon competition spot for the new movie “Aliens in the Attic”, starring “High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale.

The creative brief was not only to portray “Aliens in the Attic” as the ultimate kid’s empowerment movie but also to raise awareness of the Nickelodeon/”Aliens in the Attic” micro site through the competition. We achieved this by combining movie footage with graphics that asserted the “Aliens in the Attic” brand throughout the spot. When combined with William Vanderpuye’s lively voice over and an instantly recognisable music track, the final spot succesfully reflects the fast paced action and energy of the movie. Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick TV Spot

Rushmore were excited to work with Revlon on a TV spot for their revolutionary new lip product, Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick. The spot was part of a much larger launch campaign comprising both print and web and starring Revlon’s newest face, Jennifer Connelly.

The campaign saw us create a 20” UK TV spot using existing US materials. The first spot was tagged for Boots, the exclusive retailer of the product for the first three weeks of the campaign. After this time a 20” generic commercial replaced Boots as the product was introduced to further retailers. You can view the Boots spot below:

James Patterson Update

Rushmore are very pleased to report that the James Patterson books we recently produced two TV spots for, Swimsuit and Sale, are currently topping both the paperback and hardback charts!

James Patterson

Rushmore were thrilled to work with Random House once again on two TV commercials for the new James Patterson books, Swimsuit and Sail. The brief was to reinforce the writer’s position as the world’s number 1 thriller writer which was achieved with a creative that asserted that the best part of any holiday is reading a Patterson novel!

Rushmore were responsible for the creative concepts, shooting both commercials on the same day in a “Mediterranean” hotel recreated in the heart of London. You can see the results below:
